Ingredients

Big Onion - 1
Cornflour - 1 1/2 tsp
Oil - for deep frying
Salt to taste.

Method

It is really easy to prepare at home.

Peel off skin and cut onion into half.

Remove steam at center and slice them length wise.

Seperateonion  using your hand and sprinkle corn flour. Mix well.

Now to preheated oil add onion and fry till they turn golden brown. Transfer into paper towel to absorb excess oil.

Once it is cool down completely sprinkle some salt and they are ready to use.

If you have some left over, you may store in air-tight container and refrigerate and you could use it for around  1 month as well.

Yo may use it in garnishing pulav' briyani's, ghee rice and also to stuff samosa's, puff etc.
