Ingredient

All-purpose flour - 2 cups
Yeast - 1 tsp
 Sugar - 1 tbsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Warm milk - 1/4 cup
Warm water - 1/2 cup
Butter at room temp - 2 tbsp

Method : Tips : Important  Three important steps you should do while baking sandwich bread :

Right amount of yeast and proper activation Choose good quality yeast and add right amount of yeast for the flour you are going to add. Also activating yeast also very important.  If your yeast pack instruct you to add into warm water to activate then add yeast with sugar into luke warm water. Note that your water should not be cool or hot. Hot water makes yeast to die and cool water will not activate yeast. Luke warm water is best to activate yeast. Add sugar along with yeast that helps to activate yeast well. Let it to sit till you see foam on its top. It would probably takes 3-minutes.

Kneading dough Kneading dough with enough moisture is very important to rise the dough while resting. So while making dough make sure your dough is soft loose and sticky. Knead for atleast 10 minutes that helps to form gluten and elasticity in the dough so that your dough would construct well to rise high. The more your dough rise the more soft and fluffy bread you will get.

Resting dough Resting dough till it double in its volume for twice also very important to get soft and fluffy bread.Always rest your dough in warm place for better rising especially if you are staying in cold region.

So friends here is the method to bake bread.

In a mixing bowl, add flour, salt, sugar, yeast and give it a mix.

Add yeast and sugar with lukewarm water if the pack instruct you [ to activate yeast] and allow to rest for 3-4 minutes.Mine is dry active yeast . So I added directly into flour.

Add butter and mix it well with flour. Then add water and milk and make soft loose dough which is knid of sticky. Now start kneading dough for atleast 10 minutes till they are Non-sticky and soft. cover with damp cloth and rest for 11/2 to 2 hours till double in its volume.

Then punch the dough to shrink and shape into loaf shape as you get in stores. Grease your loaf pan and place the dough inside and rest for another 30-40 minutes till it double in its volume. [ Cover with damp cloth to avoid drying of dough in top.]

After 40 minutes, brush the top of your dough with milk so that it will not dry out after baked.Place inside your oven preheated to 250 degree for 15 minutes and bake for 15 minutes or more till you see top layer becomes golden brown Kindly watch video for better understanding.

Now transfer into cooling rack and immediately apply butter to avoid soggyness. Once it is cooled down, cut into slices and make your own dish.
