Bread roll [Potato stuffed]


Stuffed bread roll is a very simple recipe in which potato is sauted in india spices and stuffed inside bread slices and rolled them to perfect shape to make it as evening snack by frying them in oil.

Ingredients
Bread -  2 slices
Potato – 2 [Boiled and mashed]
Corn kernels  - 1 tbsp
Carrot  - 1 tsp [grated]
Onion – 1 [finely chopped]
Ginger and garlic – 1 tbap [finely chopped]
Cumin seeds  - ¼ tsp
Coriander seeds – ¼ tsp
Turmericpowder – ¼ tsp
Garam masala – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Method

Stuffing preparation

Place pan on your stove and add 1 tbsp oil. Once it is hot add fennel seeds and cumin seeds.
Once they are splutter add ginger, garlic, onion and fry them it they turn nice golden brown.
Then add turmeric,garam masala and mix it well.
Add corn, carrot and potato and mix them all.
Add enough salt and transfer it to plate.

Bread roll preparation

Take one bread slice and sprinkle little bit water over it to give elasticity for better rolling.
Note : Dont add so much  water. Then you cannot roll it perfectly and it may absorb more oil while frying.
Now place your potato stuffing over the bread slice and roll it slowly and connect the both edges. Do the same for all other bread slices.

Now heat oil for frying in a pan and once it is hot, add your rolled bread into it and fry them till they turn golden brown.
If you are diet conscious, you could also bake them using your convection oven.
Then place it on paper towel to absorb excess oil. Now crispy potato stuffed bread roll is ready to eat. You could serve them with ketcup or sauce or any chutney of your choice.
