Quick and easy korma for dosa and
idli
So are you
bored of taking dosa and idli with same sambar and chutneys.So here is my
simple,quick and easy korma that really tastes great with
dosa,idli,panniyaram.Try this and post your comments in my blog. Interesting
thing is you can make around four to five varities of korma for dosa and idli.
I will post all those in next upcoming days. Here goes the ingredient list.

Ingredients
Roasted channa dal – ¼ cup
Onion – 1
[cut into lengthwise]
Tomato
- 2 [finely chopped]
Curry leaves
– 1 spring
Red chilli –
1
Green chilli
- 1
Oil – 1 tbsp
Ginger and
garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Mustard
seeds – ½ tsp
Fennel seeds
– ½ tsp
Turmeric
powder – 1 tsp
Cinnamon
stick – 1 inch size
Cloves - 3
Grated
coconut – 3 tbsp
Salt to
taste
Coriander
leaves – for garnishing
Method
Serves for three persons
Take roasted
channa dal,cinnamon stick, cloves and blend them to fine powder and add ¼ cup
of water to make nice paste. See to that there is no lumps in it.
In a pan,
add oil. Once it is hot, add mustard seeds,fennel seeds. Wait till they
splutter.
Then add onion,curry
leaves,green chilli and red chilli. Fry them for three minutes.
Then add
tomatoes and turmeric powder,saute them till they are mashed well.
Now you can
add grated coconut and roasted channa dal paste into tomato mixture.
Mix them
well and add 2 cups of water, cook for 12 minutes in medium flame.
Your simple
and quick korma is ready. Finally add coriander leaves as garnishing.
Serve it
with Dosa, idli, panniyaram along with coconut chutney.
