Pasta with cherry tomato sauce
Pasta is
basically originated from Italy and loved by many people all over the world.
There are so many varities of pasta from veg to non-veg.This is one varities in
which pasta is cooked with cherry tomato sauce in Italian style.Join my site for regular weekly updates.
Ingredients
Pasta – ¾ cup
Onion – ½ finely chopped
Red bell
pepper – 2 tbsp finely chopped
Garlic – 1 tbsp
finely chopped
Parsley – 2 tbsp
finely chopped
Cherry tomatoes-
150 g
Italian
mixed herbs – 1 tsp
Water – 3 cups
[for boiling pasta]
Olive oil –
1 tbsp
salt to taste
Method
Serves for two persons
Place sauce
pan on the stove and add 3 cups of water. Bring it to boil
Add 1 tsp of
salt. Once it is dissolved, add pasta and cook for 15 minutes till they are
soft. You need to flip them in between to avoid pasta sticking together.
While pasta
is cooking, lets start with cooking sauce.
First make
puree with cherry tomato sauce.
Then place
pan on your stove and add ovile oil. Once it is hot, add garlic and cook it is
golden brown.
Add onion
and red bell pepper and cook it for 3 minutes till raw flavour goes away.
Now add the
cherry tomato puree, mix it well and cook the mixture for 10 minutes.
At this
point of time, your pasta must have been cooked. Strain them from water and add
to your tomato sauce.
Mix
altogether so that the sauce would get mixed well with pasta.Transfer it to
plate and shred some cheese over it and serve.
